Position: Product Manager III
Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066
Duties: Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. Defines and manages strategy and business objectives for minimally complex products by identifying market opportunities, conducting benchmark studies and competitive assessments; developing business cases; and setting objectives and key performance indicators for products. Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Develops and enhances minimally complex products by developing and managing product roadmaps; gathering and documenting requirements; collecting and analyzing customer and product data; turning customer insights into actionable priorities and initiatives; prioritizing product backlog; executing on user and business acceptance criteria; and managing roll out of product features. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Crafts and develops solutions to business challenges by communicating requirements to key partners (for example, Business leaders, User Experience, Engineering, Analytics); and engaging with key partners to deliver and support initiatives; and communicating status and insights related to product performance. This position does not supervise employees.
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business Analytics, or related area and 1 year of experience in product management; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business Analytics, or related area and 3 years of experience in product management.
Skills required: Experience conducting market research and competitive analysis. Experience with Product Lifecycle Development. Demonstrated knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle. Experience with data analytics and data visualization tools. Experience with developing Product Strategy and Roadmap Management and Planning. Experience with cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Design, Business, and Analytics teams. Experience with Project Management and Change Management. Demonstrated knowledge of User Experience (UX) research, including qualitative and quantitative research analysis. Experience with Agile Methodologies. Experience executing opportunity mapping to articulate and analyze customer problem statements. Experience with segmentation, market sizing, and value propositioning. Experience with experimentation using A/B tests and Iterative Improvement. Experience with use case and workflow documentation. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $117,000/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
