This company is deeply mission-driven and operates at the intersection of cutting-edge technology, inclusive culture, and real-world impact.

With strong financials and rapid headcount growth, they're building world-class engineering teams to develop products that empower self-expression, community connection, and meaningful engagement for millions of global users. The company fosters a culture of curiosity, ownership, collaboration, and values-driven innovation—and is currently hiring a Staff iOS Engineer to help lead the next evolution of its mobile experience.

What You Will Do

As a Staff iOS Engineer, you'll play a central role in designing and implementing the next generation of the company's flagship iOS application. You'll work across product streams and collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to build new user-facing features at scale while helping define technical best practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally across product, design, and engineering to make the app the best experience it can be for millions of users

  • Lead multiple work streams simultaneously, converting ambiguity into high-level architectural and engineering decisions

  • Innovate by guiding data-informed decisions around technologies, tools, architecture, and mobile workflows

  • Use tools such as Swift, Xcode, RxSwift, Bitrise, Fastlane, Jenkins, and GitHub to design scalable and performant code

  • Drive the evolution of architecture, with a focus on MVVM, Coordinator, modular design, and performance optimization

  • Elevate your team by mentoring engineers, improving team workflows, and pushing for innovation in mobile development

Ideal Candidate Background

  • 6+ years of experience developing complex iOS applications in Swift

  • Proven experience working on large-scale, consumer-facing mobile products

  • Strong architecture skills with experience in modularization, MVVM, and Coordinator patterns

  • Experience leading feature development end-to-end and collaborating across departments and time zones

  • Strong understanding of concurrency, data flow patterns, mobile performance optimization, and long-term code maintainability

  • Able to mentor peers, support team growth, and help others level up technically

  • Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment practices (Bitrise, Jenkins, Fastlane)

Preferred

  • Experience with RxSwift, RxFlow, or other functional reactive programming frameworks

  • Prior experience in architecture at scale, ideally with exposure to backend systems or full-stack workflows

  • Track record of product leadership and collaboration with executive-level stakeholders

  • Contributions to open source, speaking at conferences, or mentoring early-career engineers is a plus

Additional Benefits Include:

  • Premium health, dental, and vision coverage, with partial dependent support

  • 401(k) plan with 6% company match and immediate vesting

  • Inclusive health benefits: gender-affirming coverage, HRT stipends, and access to specialized health platforms

  • Monthly stipends for wellness, food, cell phone, internet, and commuting

  • Flexible vacation, home office setup support, and team events

Base salary: $200,000 - $240,000 USD base
