Lawrence Berkeley National Lab's (LBNL) Facilities Division has an opening for a Painter to join the team. As a member of the LBNL's Facilities Division, you will be an integral part of our specialized Painter team, supporting the Lab's ongoing scientific experiments, as well as day to day operations. In this exciting role, you will prepare surfaces by priming, cleaning, scraping, sanding, sealing and water blasting, in the support of construction and maintenance activities. You will also perform paint applications which include: matching colors utilizing a tinting machine, applying paint colors, oils, etc., to obtain proper color or consistency. As a Painter, you will use brushes, rollers, spray equipment to apply paints, varnishes, epoxies and other paint-like substances to interior/exterior building structures, utilities, equipment, cabinet / furniture.
