Overview

Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Warehouse Stock Clerk to support the United States Coast Guard Operational Logistics Command and the Mission Essential Personal Equipment Product Line (MEPE PL). This position is responsible for supporting all aspects of warehouse management to include inventory management, supply management, and distribution management.

***This is a temporary full-time position supporting LOGCOM-44 MEPE Division, USCG Base Alameda, California.***

Responsibilities

Verifying materials against receiving documents
• Noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages
• Routing materials to prescribed storage locations
• Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods
• Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials
• Replenish pick areas identified by replenishment screens or report various requests for needed merchandise
• Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage
• Preparing orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
• Maintaining quality service by following organization standards
• Completing reports by entering required information into the inventory management system
• Operating a variety of warehouse equipment and vehicles; utilize a variety of hand tools as required
• Lifting up to 501bs
• Operating a computer to process reports and forms, and maintaining inventory of warehouse
• materials as required

Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Clearance: Must have an active Public Trust with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance

Education: High School diploma

Years of Experience: 8 or more years of related warehouse experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Clearance: Active Secret level clearance

Education: Bachelor's degree

Years of Experience: 4 or more years of related warehouse experience

Location: U.S. Coast Guard Base Alameda, California
On-site: The duties for this position are performed on-site, (temporary) full-time
Travel: CONUS travel up to 10% travel may be required

Pay Range

USD $25.49 - USD $26.44 /Yr.
