The Pool Supervisor will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless experience for our guests while supporting the day-to-day operations of our pool and food and beverage services. This position is ideal for a hospitality professional with a passion for customer service, attention to detail, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the pool, ensuring exceptional service quality and efficiency.
• Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to maintain high standards.
• Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to implement service standards, operational procedures, and training programs.
• Address and resolve guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests promptly and professionally.
• Assist in scheduling, staffing, and ensuring optimal labor cost management.
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage waste reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Support special events, banquets, and private dining experiences as required.
• Uphold Ventana's commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.

WAGE: The Hourly Range for this position is $20-$22 per hour plus service charge (potential to earn and additional $5 to $10 per hour with service charge). This is the pay range for this position at Alila Ventana Big Sur reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors including experience, and education.

SHIFT: 10am to 6pm flexibility is appreciated and weekends are required
