We are searching for a talented Food Service Worker-Retail

Hours: Per Diem

Shift: Day/Evening shift with weekend and holiday rotation

Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Responsibilities

Position reports to the Manager, Food & Nutrition Services or designee. Provide support for the Retail areas of the Food & Nutrition Department including set up all stations and perform positions, break down stations completely ensuring they are cleaned and sanitized. Clean and sanitize equipment, and food surfaces according to procedures. Assure that all food items are accurately dated, labeled, and rotated prior to storage and or placed for sale. Use proper utensils to ensure accurate portions. Performs other reasonable duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Ability to follow written instructions.
  • Experience with proper food safety/sanitary procedures is preferred.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Pay Range

USD $15.45 - USD $21.63 /Hr.
