Description:

We're looking for an experienced IT Desktop Support Specialist to deliver high-touch, white glove service to a growing team of professionals. You'll be supporting a mixed Mac and Windows environment, working closely with our client, and ensuring seamless onboarding and device setup for new team members. This is a hands-on, user-facing role requiring strong communication, professionalism, and the ability to work with highly technical users.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality desktop support for both Mac and Windows users (50/50 split)
  • Work directly with end users to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and access issues
  • Image and configure laptops; ensure smooth setup for all new employees
  • Support video conferencing and collaboration tools, primarily Zoom (via Google) and Microsoft Teams
  • Assist with transition and streamlining to Microsoft 365 Suite and Teams
  • Manage SSO access using Microsoft Entra
  • Liaise with our client for escalations and backend support
  • Support additional applications such as Saltworks and specialized electrical engineering software
  • Help implement and support task tracking via Microsoft Planner


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on IT desktop support experience
  • Strong professionalism and excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable working with highly intelligent, technical users
  • Experience supporting both Mac and Windows OS
  • Familiarity with device imaging and user onboarding processes
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem and collaboration tools
  • Previous experience with SSO platforms (e.g., MS Entra) a plus
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic networking and hardware issues
  • Experience supporting niche engineering software is a bonus
