What You'll Do:

Design and develop Benefit makeup products. Develop a robust pipeline of new products in advance and in accordance with our long-term plan and business goals. Combine artistic talent with research on product use, marketing, and materials to create the most functional and appealing product design. Responsible for creative and strategic concept ideation, market analysis, trend data, consumer insights, and white space assessments. Oversee and drive the day-to-day responsibilities of the Brows/Face color team. Develop new products in the Brow/Face categories. Hire, manage, and develop internal team of professionals at various stages in their careers. (Work from home is permitted within a commutable distance to the San Francisco, CA worksite).

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Marketing, or a related field plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered, Product Designer, or a related occupation in packaging development in the cosmetics/beauty industry. Experience must include:

• Developing color cosmetics for a global cosmetic company
• Working with cosmetics labs to develop products, specifically texture and shade development
• Developing highly integrated products involving formula and complex packaging
• Analyzing market data and numbers to interpret trends and inform new product concepts
• Presenting new products and services to internal audiences; and monitoring, deciphering and illustrating future trends and translating them into product concepts

Requires 20% travel internationally and within U.S. to various unanticipated internal and external sites.

Schedule:

• Hybrid - requires onsite presence weekly to a Benefit Office

The salary range for this position in California is $145,000 to $175,000 annually. The actual salary offered is based on market location and will depend on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, years of relevant experience; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. This position is eligible to earn an annual bonus.
