Job Description

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for the direction and performance of consulting, design, or construction management services for assigned projects, ensuring work is performed in conformance with project objectives, requirements, performance metrics (e.g., client satisfaction, profitability), and quality standards. Key responsibilities include safety, subcontractor management, change management, project control and reporting, staffing, adherence to quality plans, and managing project budgets and schedules. The role also involves client relationship management to ensure a positive experience that fosters future business. The Project Manager is accountable for the financial performance of projects. Multiple project assignments may be required.

Candidates must be willing to travel extensively. Current job sites are located in Wisconsin and California.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects involving multiple disciplines
• Obtain industry-specific certifications, such as PMP & AECPMA
• Oversee consulting, design, or construction management services, ensuring compliance with project objectives, performance metrics, and quality standards
• Manage client relationships to create positive experiences and secure future work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience, preferably in a design firm or field construction office
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to lead and manage teams
• Experience as an Assistant Project Manager or managing a discipline/area in a lead role
• Basic understanding of core engineering disciplines and project delivery in design and construction

Additional Information

The pay range for candidates based in Emeryville is typically $143,667 to $229,868 annually. Actual pay depends on factors such as location, qualifications, and experience. CRB offers a comprehensive benefits package and participation in incentive programs based on performance.
