We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health!Organization:CPMC-California Pacific Med Center Position Overview:The fellowship entails two concurrent components, equally weighted and supervised by a Psychologist: 1) a research and education component, and 2) a clinical psychology training fellowship. This fellowship is equivalent to two full years (24 months) of education and training in clinical psychology and related disciplines. It involves providing assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning services for patients with medical and developmental disorders, fostering emerging skills and potential for independence in autonomous decision-making, assessment, treatment planning, evidence-based interventions, and inter/intra-community resource coordination.Job Description :EDUCATION:Doctorate in Psychology.TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:At least 5 years of relevant recent experience.SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:Knowledge of human development, psychological treatments, and intervention modalities across children, adolescents, and adults.Understanding of psychosocial factors influencing mental health, including personality, growth and development, interpersonal relationships, family dynamics, community integration, and socioeconomic resources.Adherence to American Psychological Association ethical standards.Familiarity with the DSM, psychotherapeutic modalities, interventions, and psychotropic medications.Ability to work effectively with diverse psychiatric treatment problems involving children, adolescents, adults, and their families.Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary treatment team.Sound clinical decision-making skills regarding patient assessment and appropriate dispositions.Work Schedule:Days, Monday through Friday.
