Amazing opportunity to teach a special ed classroom at the Denman Middle School in San Francisco.
We're looking for a teacher for the SOAR classroom, which is a special day classroom for kids with disabilities that impact their social, emotional, behavioral and academic functioning.
These kids need a strong, nurturing, and consistent teacher with buckets of patience and a passion for improving the lives of the kids who are having a challenging time at school and with social interactions. If you've worked with these kids before, you know it's tough work, but also incredibly fulfilling to see their successes.
This recruitment campaign is organized by a group of parents with special needs kids. We're lending a hand to the school to reach out to our networks here on LinkedIn to find just the right candidate. When you respond to this post, we'll put you in direct contact with the hiring team at Denman.
The salary schedules are listed below. Salary starts at $69,525 and goes up to $131,654. Plus medical, dental, and vision.
The school is Denman Middle School, located in Sunnyside/Ingleside, with Ocean Ave running through and home to City College. It's a walking-friendly neighborhood with lots of shops and grocery stores. The Balboa Bart station is three blocks from the school, which means that it's quick access to most parts of San Francisco, East Bay, and South.
