Your Role and Responsibilities
Terraform Authorship maintains the core of Terraform (Community Edition) and drives community and commercial value. Our mission is to keep Terraform at the forefront of the Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) space by driving industry-leading innovations that improve workflows for our customers and global community. We aim to make Terraform the best tool for managing infrastructure and HCP Terraform the best product for realizing its full value.
Terraform has redefined infrastructure provisioning and management, but infrastructure management extends beyond deployment. Terraform seeks to expand into Day 2 Operations, enabling customers to manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure resources.
This role is part of a new full-stack team working on HCP Terraform. You will enable new workflows, build innovative infrastructure management experiences, and shape Terraform's evolution into a comprehensive operations tool.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
Develop and maintain application code across the full stack of HCP Terraform using Ruby on Rails, Golang, and Ember.
Own the delivery of well-defined solutions.
Contribute to architectural decisions through the RFC process.
Investigate problems, performance bottlenecks, and customer escalations.
Enable your teammates through code reviews and pairing.
