Apparel Design Contractor - 2+ years experience
Women's Design Team
This is a 2-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in San Francisco, CA.
2+ years of experience in a fashion design or apparel development environment
Passion for the fashion industry with a strong foundation in garment construction and trend-forward design
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and PLM systems, with strong technical sketching skills
Familiar with garment construction, patternmaking, and bill of materials creation
Skilled in collaborating with merchandising, product development, and sourcing teams
Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities and timelines
Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail
In this role, you will support the execution of seasonal product designs for the women's denim category.
You'll partner with designers and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery of collections. This includes creating and updating technical sketches, managing Miro boards, building tech packs, and maintaining PLM entries for seasonal styles.
You will also support trim and sundry development and assist in aligning designs with aesthetic, sourcing, and profitability goals-contributing to the overall success of the product lifecycle.
Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent practical experience
Background in apparel design, technical design, or related creative fields
This opportunity is located in San Francisco, CA and requires hybrid work.
The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $52.00 - $57.00 per hour.
