What you'll do:

  • Drive the financial planning process for a key strategic initiative for the company.
  • Establish trusted relationships with cross-functional leaders to articulate and oversee the “single source of truth” of key financial and performance metrics.
  • Own the development and administration of a complex long-range financial model across all of SoFi's business units; identify and monitor key performance metrics and develop actionable insights.
  • Prepare quarterly internal and external materials to facilitate management discussion and analysis of key financial and business performance indicators.
  • Lead the development and regular communication of forward-looking financial performance metrics.
  • Act as day-to-day finance partner to the CFO and the finance leadership team to facilitate rigorous and actionable evaluation of business performance against strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of financial services experience, ideally in consumer lending, private equity, or investment banking.
  • A deep understanding of the P&L dynamics of a consumer finance business.
  • Experience preparing and presenting information to key decision makers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Docs/Sheets/Slides.
  • Collaborative working style and demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Inquisitive nature, attention to detail, diligence, and a good attitude.
  • Willingness to embrace unstructured environments and problems.
  • Time and project management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
