Savor...San Francisco, Catering by ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for an Exhibitor Sales and Marketing Manager at the Moscone Center.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position reports to the Director of Catering Event Planning & Customer Success and is responsible for marketing, selling, and managing sales of food and beverage to exhibitor and affiliate clients associated with conventions booked into the facility. You will work directly with clients to ensure proper food and beverage service throughout the selling cycle.

POSITION DUTIES

1. Market via various channels to generate additional revenue, including telemarketing, email campaigns, postcard mailings, and website advertising.
2. Manage the Savor Moscone website ordering system and database.
3. Translate client catering specifications into operational formats.
4. Promote on-site ordering of catering services.
5. Develop innovative exhibitor catering options.
6. Create a room-service style booth attendant program.
7. Design marketing materials such as catering packets and flyers.
8. Make initial contact with clients and send thank you letters.
9. Prepare menu proposals and work with Catering Sales Managers to develop shows.
10. Handle sales orders, contracts, payments, and event analysis.
11. Maintain ongoing interaction with clients and serve as a liaison at booths.
12. Obtain client signatures on delivery receipts.
13. Conduct weekly solicitation calls.

WORKING CONDITIONS

While performing these duties, the employee is regularly required to walk and sit; frequently required to stand; occasionally required to taste or smell.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school, or two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business materials, and to write reports and correspondence. Effective presentation skills are required.
3. Proficiency in calculating figures such as discounts, interest, and percentages, and applying basic algebra and geometry.
4. Problem-solving skills and ability to interpret various instructions in different formats.

Salary Range

$75,000 - $80,000 plus commissions.
