We are currently looking for an Affordable Housing Project Manager/Developer I to lead the finance, development, and acquisition of affordable, multi-family housing. The successful Project Manager will be connected with the affordable housing community in the San Francisco area and will be the lead resource for other team members.

Pay: $110,000-125,000/salary DOE

Duties:

  • Review sites or projects for potential development of new construction, complexes for potential acquisition, or potential re-syndication opportunities.
  • Lead others in the application process and fully navigate through Mercy's approval process. Engage and solve issues directly with internal/external parties.
  • Prepare feasibility or project analysis responding to project criteria. Includes identification of needs, project risks, property rehabilitation needs, population served, financial feasibility, and community plan as needed.
  • Execute job tasks (duties) with final review by Project Developer II or higher.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Planning, or related field.
  • Two (2) years of experience in low-income housing development work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Planning, or related field.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong time management and organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Superior written and verbal communication and relationship management skills.
  • Highly effective problem-solving and flexibility while remaining focused on solutions.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
