Description:

Links Technology is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Engineering Program Manager to join our client's team in San Francisco. Our client is a leading technology firm that delivers cutting-edge products for businesses and organizations of all sizes. This is a 9-month contract (extendable) role offering the opportunity to drive large-scale new product introduction (NPI) programs for the Hardware Program Management Organization. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office and allowing 2 days remote.

Responsibilities of the Engineering Program Manager:

  1. Drive large-scale new product introduction (NPI) programs for the Hardware Program Management Organization.
  2. Own and manage project plans for key initiatives.
  3. Develop resilient working relationships and support cross-functional teams.
  4. Build and track overall program prototype allocations, budgets, and purchase orders.
  5. Adhere to metrics and governance for Meraki's process and drive process improvements.
  6. Track research and development endeavors on new components, NPIs, and Sustaining.
  7. Lead JDM or CM proto build plans ensuring allocations are correct and correlate to build quantity.
  8. Mentor and provide opportunities for newer team members.

Qualifications of the Engineering Program Manager:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  2. 8+ years of program management experience in software, hardware, embedded, networking, or cloud technologies or products.
  3. 2-4+ years of NPI experience in software, hardware, embedded, networking, or cloud technologies/products (REQUIRED).
  4. Experience supporting senior leaders and executives.
  5. Proficiency in project planning tools (Excel, Gantt charts, Jira, Confluence, Sharepoint).
  6. Project management professional certification or equivalent (preferred).
  7. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  8. Excellent problem-solving and research skills.
