Hardware Systems Engineer

Acceler8 Talent is seeking aHardware Systems Design Engineerto join a stealth-stage AI infrastructure startup to develop next-generation systems for high-performance datacenter applications. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape advanced networking hardware from concept to production, working with cutting-edge optics, ASICs, and compute architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design complex systems including Ethernet switches, CPU subsystems, and memory interfaces
• Develop high-speed circuit boards with power-hungry ASICs and optical modules
• Perform system-level analysis, simulation, validation, and compliance testing
• Collaborate with software, thermal, mechanical, and manufacturing teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• Experience designing complex boards with high-speed SerDes, signal/power integrity, and EMI compliance
• Knowledge of CPU subsystems (x86, ARM, BMC), power systems (DC/DC, AC/DC), and thermal design
• Familiarity with regulatory standards (UL, CE, FCC)
• Track record of shipping multiple hardware products
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
