Edison Smart are partnered with a growing HVAC and Building Automation business in CA who are looking to hire an Energy Engineer to join their growing team with a focus on multi-family and commercial real estate projects.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a the subject matter expert for HVAC and Building Automation projects and company's strategy.
• Complete surveys and estimations.
• Manage projects from inception to installation / handover

Requirements:

• Engineering Degree Holder - Mechanical Engineering / Energy Engineering or similiar
• 5+ years in the Energy / Building Automation / Mechanical or HVAC fields.
• Solid understanding of Niagara / BACnet / Modbus / MQTT protocols
• Familiar with local CA regulations and policies.

Open to considering individiuals from HVAC/BAS Technician backgrounds with hands on programming experience OR individuals with Design/Project Engineering backgrounds with OEMs / System Integrators or Consultancies.
