Day One Partners is working with the founders of a stealth AI company backed by top-tier VCs. They're building an AI platform that helps biopharma companies bring new drugs to market faster and at lower cost. The team already has paying customers and strong traction with major industry players.

This company is solving that problem by building an AI-powered ‘information factory.'

About the Role

As one of the first engineers on the team, you'll work on both the backend and frontend of the product, as well as large-scale data pipelines. You'll collaborate directly with customers, quickly iterate on features, and help close product gaps. The team moves fast and values rapid prototyping and customer feedback.

What You'll Do

• Build new features across the stack—from backend systems to frontend interfaces
• Own key parts of the codebase and take projects from concept to production
• Work on large-scale data pipelines that power customer workflows
• Collaborate directly with customers to understand their needs and improve the product
• Move quickly to ship updates and improve user experience

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience as a full stack or generalist software engineer
• Comfortable working across backend and frontend systems
• Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience
• Excited to work onsite in a fast-paced, early-stage startup
• Comfortable taking ownership and working independently on complex projects

Nice to Have

• Experience at a high-growth startup
• Familiarity with React or modern frontend frameworks
• Interest in life sciences, healthcare, or biotech
