Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services supporting web and mobile applications.
• Own backend architecture end-to-end—from data modeling and infrastructure decisions to API development and system performance.
• Develop internal tooling and automation systems to enhance engineering workflows and team efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and frontend teams to bring new features to life.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and evolve systems for long-term performance and scale.
• Stay up to date with emerging backend technologies and contribute ideas for improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong backend or full-stack engineering experience, demonstrated through production-grade projects or systems.
• Proficiency in modern backend languages such as Node.js, Python, or Go, with experience using frameworks like Express or FastAPI.
• Strong Product Taste / Intuition is always preferable
• Solid understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL), schema design, and query optimization.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience building internal tools or infrastructure to support cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment.
