We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Civil Engineering Lead to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your civil engineering skills in a challenging and rewarding role. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a passion for civil engineering, land development, and site development. This position will require a hands-on approach to managing projects, leading teams, and driving innovation in our engineering processes.

Responsibilities:

As a Civil Engineering Lead, you will:

• Lead and manage a team of civil engineers and technicians in the execution of project tasks.
• Develop and implement civil engineering strategies and plans in line with the company's objectives.
• Oversee and manage all phases of land development and site development projects, from planning and design to construction and completion.
• Prepare and review engineering plans, designs, and specifications for civil engineering projects.
• Conduct site inspections and feasibility studies to identify potential engineering problems and propose effective solutions.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Develop and implement innovative drainage designs for various projects.
• Participate in K-12 education programs to promote civil engineering and inspire the next generation of engineers.
  
  

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• A Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development and site development.
• Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and techniques.
• Proficiency in using civil engineering software and tools.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
