Summary

The Food Service Coordinator prepares and provides food to Navigation Center guests. This is a full-time, non-exempt, temporary position ending September 23, 2025.

Schedule: Graveyard shift, 12:00 Midnight to 8:30 am. Days off are Sunday and Monday.

Salary: Starts at $23 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the day's meal by microwaving food when needed.
  • Rotate meals from freezer to refrigerator during their shift to support the next shift.
  • Follow all health guidelines for food safety handling.
  • Keep the kitchen and food prep tools clean.
  • Maintain logs of food deliveries and distributions.
  • Keep the community room and pantry organized and clean.
  • Ensure refrigerators and freezers are clean.
  • Provide courteous guest services.
  • Follow cleaning checklists and shift duties.
  • Complete all instructions and duties satisfactorily.
  • Wear proper safety attire: apron, non-slip shoes, hair tied back, hair net, cap.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Covid vaccination and negative TB test required. Background check upon acceptance.
