About the Software Engineer II – iControl

The Software Engineer II – iControl is responsible for developing and maintaining the iControl software platform. iControl is a cloud-based platform that provides remote access and control of Bio-Rad's laboratory instruments. The Software Engineer II will work with a team of engineers to develop new features and enhancements, ensuring the platform's reliability and scalability.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the iControl software platform
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers to develop new features and enhancements
  • Ensure the platform's reliability and scalability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the platform
  • Provide technical support to users of the iControl platform

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience developing software for cloud-based platforms
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
