We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager to support our finance organization in a fast-paced startup environment. This role involves building the financial backbone of our business, supporting FP&A, Investor Relations, Corporate Development, Corporate Strategy, and Business Operations. The ideal candidate has a client-service mentality, strong finance fundamentals, critical thinking skills, and attention to detail. Initially an individual contributor, with potential to lead a team as the company grows. This position involves collaboration with key stakeholders and is highly visible.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the company's FP&A processes, including planning cycles.
  2. Develop detailed financial models for forecasts, expenses, costs, and M&A activities.
  3. Generate regular and ad-hoc performance reports and KPIs.
  4. Assist in implementing FP&A systems and processes, and improve existing procedures.
  5. Identify opportunities to reduce variances and improve forecasts.
  6. Create high-impact presentation materials for executives and boards.
  7. Collaborate with various functions to provide financial insights and analysis.
  8. Participate in recruiting efforts to support company growth.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in corporate FP&A, preferably in a tech company or with investment banking, private equity, or Big 4 background.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex topics and visualize data for actionable insights.
  • Deep understanding of business operations.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing and engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Startup experience.
  • MBA and/or CPA.
  • Experience with financial planning tools like Anaplan or Adaptive.
