Starting Salary: $73,133.28 annually

Position Overview

We seek an experienced social service professional to provide case management to residents, focusing on housing stability. Responsibilities include meetings, counseling, service planning, referrals, and progress tracking, all within Housing First and Harm Reduction frameworks. The role involves supervision, crisis intervention, service coordination, and community engagement.

Essential Functions

• Supervise up to 2 Case Managers
• Conduct assessments, develop and monitor service plans, ensure follow-up
• Accompany clients to appointments
• Provide crisis intervention and conflict resolution
• Assist tenants with communication and meetings with Property Management
• Implement housing retention and community activities
• Use Harm Reduction and Housing First models
• Participate in community meetings, documentations, and organizational initiatives

Position Details

• Location: 53 Colton St, San Francisco, CA 94103
• Status: Full-Time / Exempt
• Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9 am – 5 pm
• Reports to: Resident Services Manager
• Qualifications: High School diploma required; Bachelor's preferred; Master's or certification strongly preferred; 2+ years working with homeless or at-risk populations; knowledge of supportive housing, trauma-informed care, and community resources; computer skills; interest in social justice; bilingual skills a plus.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Ability to sit, use hands, reach, talk, hear, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, and work in a moderately noisy environment. Accommodations available for disabilities.
