The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of their store, ensuring smooth and effective functioning. This includes managing all aspects of store operations such as scheduling, customer service, marketing, merchandising, inventory, financial reporting, and safety. The role involves managing, developing, and motivating store employees, as well as developing business strategies to meet goals and increase sales in a competitive marketplace. The goal is to grow the company's market share by selling to large, commercial users such as paint contractors, along with retail customers.
This position typically requires a 48-hour workweek, which may include evenings and weekends.
