The Opportunity

The next gen video team is building new products and services that offer creators and businesses a new way to create content at scale. It's a natural, exponential extension of the technology that Adobe has created over the past 40 years.

We are hiring a Product Manager to work with the Adobe Video platform team and the next-generation web and mobile teams to drive product strategy, roadmap, requirements, and lead the implementation of Adobe's future video APIs and cross-platform features. The ideal candidate is a seasoned API or creative product management leader with experience building a world-class platform. They excel at strategy, thrive in ambiguity, and are systems thinkers and technology platform builders at heart. They cultivate a fun, fast, inclusive, collaborative, empathetic, and candid culture with their cross-functional partners.

What You'll Do

1. Own the vision and strategy of the Adobe Video Platform as well as interoperable product features across the suite of Adobe products.
2. Define the platform's vision, roadmap, and quality.
3. Drive the prioritization of technical work with engineering and program management.
4. Collaborate closely with platform engineers, product engineers, stakeholders, and teams to deliver a self-serve platform.
5. Articulate the vision to diverse audiences, fostering shared purpose and direction.
6. Use data-driven insights from market trends, customer feedback, and the competitive landscape to inform decisions and refine activities.
7. Identify risks, opportunities, and emerging trends, translating insights into pragmatic actions.
8. Apply critical thinking and pragmatic delivery for optimal short-term and long-term results through well-defined product requirements and features.
9. Drive an agile, predictable, and results-oriented software development process.
10. Promote a culture of belonging, purpose, and continuous feedback to support team development.

What You'll Need

1. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in computer science, engineering, physics, or related fields.
2. 5+ years of product management leadership, including leading versatile teams of product managers.
3. Experience with video technologies.
4. Excellent customer insight, critical thinking, and product innovation skills.
5. Proven ability to lead and influence through technical excellence and execution.
6. Track record of defining and executing product roadmaps.
7. Collaborative and influential personality capable of implementing complex roadmaps.
8. Sense of urgency, self-confidence, and decisiveness.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence across organizational levels.
10. Experience working in a scaled, matrixed environment across functions and geographies.
11. Success in fostering positive cultural change and employee motivation.
