Position Summary

The Bilingual Caseworker helps provide meals with love by interfacing with clients, assessing eligibility, conducting intake interviews, and supporting clients in accessing services. This involves working in the Grocery Center, handling calls, and performing administrative tasks. Collaboration with the Client Services team is essential to serve clients effectively.

Qualifications

Required

• BA in Human Services or related field
• Computer literacy (MS Office/Outlook)
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries
• Bilingual Spanish

Desired

• Mental Health or Social Work experience
• Experience with clients with multiple diagnoses (substance abuse, mental illness, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Process applications and perform intake and recertification
• Verify eligibility and maintain client database
• Assess client needs and provide referrals
• Support clients in accessing services and handle crisis situations
• Conduct home visits and follow-up on behavioral issues
• Act as liaison and represent POH
