OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY INCIDENT RESPONSE TECHNICIAN

At On-Site Health & Safety, our Incident Response Technicians or Field Technicians explore diverse skill sets beyond traditional EMT, Paramedic, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, or LVN roles. Our Technicians work in a mobile setting, responding in company vehicles to various worksites including construction zones, warehouses, refineries, and restaurants. Employees enjoy the flexibility of clocking in and out from home, eliminating commutes, and expanding their experience across disciplines.

Our mission is: “We keep America working by being On-Site.” Our services include compliance assistance, incident reporting, first aid, pulmonary testing, drug screening, hearing tests, and blood draws (when licensed).

Position Benefits:

  • Take home company vehicle
  • Part-time schedule
  • Alternative work week: 3 days/10-hour shifts
  • $21-$28/hour
  • On-call rotation, including some overnight and weekend shifts

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education or experience in EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, Military Medic, LVN, LPN, or related fields
  • Additional training in-house (Emergency Medical Responder, X-Ray Technician, Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, CNA)
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Insurable with a 3-5 year driving history or documented defensive driving training
  • No severe driving violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.)
  • Pass criminal background check
  • Pass pre-employment drug screening and comply with ongoing testing policies

Additional Notes:

  • Clear communication skills
  • Comfort with public speaking
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs for extended periods
  • Willingness to operate a vehicle for long periods, up to 90% of shift

Work Location:

The company hires based on geographic areas to meet service demand, allowing employees to live within their service area and respond promptly.

Note: Extensive background checks, including MVR, are conducted. Driving privileges depend on risk assessment. Employment is contingent on passing background and drug tests. Employees may be required to undergo federally mandated drug testing due to the nature of the work, including bloodborne pathogen exposure risks. Some roles are safety-sensitive and subject to post-accident and random testing. Immunization against hepatitis B is recommended.
