Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and visionary leader for the role of Sr. Director, Cross Border Sales Enablement, Planning and Performance. This role is crucial in driving the growth of our cross-border business across Visa's 200+ countries. The successful candidate will develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance our ability to win cross-border deals and optimize existing clients, thereby increasing market share. This involves leveraging sales disciplines, market insights, customer research, and competitive intelligence to align with company goals and foster long-term sustainable growth.

Essential Functions

  1. Cross Border Rich Deals: Define, deploy, and measure strategies to win, grow, and retain cross border deals globally, including increasing win rates and improving sales pitches and incentives.
  2. Sales Uplift and Enablement: Develop approaches to upskill sales teams, optimize portfolios, and support sales processes with tools, playbooks, and cross-functional partnerships.
  3. XB Drivers, Data Metrics and Performance Measurement: Establish frameworks to track performance drivers, collaborate with data science teams, and operationalize metrics to drive growth.
  4. Business Performance Operations: Support business priorities, internal reporting, research, and representation in internal programs, fostering a strong team and company culture.

This is a hybrid role with days in the office to be confirmed by your manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 10+ years with an advanced degree, or 5+ years with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 12+ with an advanced degree, including 9+ years in senior strategic roles in global organizations, with expertise in sales initiatives, market understanding, and leadership.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies by department needs.

Travel Requirements: 5-10% travel expected.

Physical/Mental Requirements: Office-based, involving sitting, standing, communication, and standard office equipment use.

U.S. Applicants: Estimated salary range is $204,500 - $296,700 annually, potentially including incentives, bonuses, and equity, with a comprehensive benefits package.
