  • Responsibilities:Develop and maintain commercial lines pricing models and rating structures.
  • Conduct reserve analyses and loss projections for commercial insurance portfolios.
  • Perform detailed portfolio analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and areas of concern.
  • Collaborate with underwriting teams to optimize guidelines and risk selection.
  • Provide actuarial insights to inform product development and business strategy.
  • Support regulatory filings and respond to inquiries from regulatory bodies.
  • Lead complex projects and mentor junior team members.
  • Present actuarial findings and recommendations to senior leadership.


  • Must-Have Skills:FCAS certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial insurance lines (property or casualty).
  • Expert experience in statistical modeling and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in actuarial software and programming languages such as R, Python, and SQL.


  • Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience with large account pricing and risk evaluation.
  • Familiarity with reinsurance concepts and structures.
  • Knowledge of predictive modeling techniques applicable to commercial insurance.
  • Understanding of emerging risks and their potential impact on commercial portfolios.
