The Role

The Revenue Accounting Manager will oversee daily revenue accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and process robustness. This role collaborates closely with the Director of Accounting.

What You'll Do

  1. Own month-end and year-end revenue close processes, including revenue recognition per ASC 606, contract review, invoicing, COGS, inventory, and sales commissions.
  2. Develop and optimize workflows and processes across functions.
  3. Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant regulations.
  4. Maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures for data integrity.
  5. Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.
  6. Assist with accounting software implementation and improvements.

What You'll Bring

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's or CPA preferred. 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in management. Startup experience is a plus.
  2. Strong GAAP knowledge, with experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing.
  3. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Excel.
  4. Experience in process and system improvements.
  5. Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
  6. Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
  8. Experience with ASC 606 and ASC 340-40, Inventory Management, and COGS.

Compensation & Benefits

$120,000 - $155,000 annually, based on qualifications and location. Includes stock options, comprehensive health insurance, unlimited PTO, and 401(k). Final salary depends on various factors.
