About the Role
We are seeking a Head of Real Estate to lead the teams responsible for developing and delivering the real estate strategy and execution for Gap Inc.'s portfolio of properties. This position reports to the Chief Business & Strategy Officer and works in close partnership with Brand partners (Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, and Athleta), enterprise business leaders, and landlords to ensure strategic alignment. This individual leads a team of high-performing senior leaders across markets and regions, balancing time between real estate strategy and market planning analyses.
This senior leadership position requires a proven track record in real estate management, and the ability to drive cost-effective solutions (best locations/value) and foster a positive workplace environment. This role will develop a data-driven real estate strategy with an omni-channel approach, ensuring the portfolio meets productivity metrics for growth and profitability. They will also work closely with key stakeholders to realize the physical manifestation of the vision and strategy of the Gap Inc. portfolio. This includes (a) delivering future-focused store configurations across brands that maximize market potential, (b) managing cost-effective real estate transactions across stores and facilities, and (c) executing special projects supporting Gap Inc.'s pursuit of sustainable omni-differentiation. This role requires customer-centricity, an inclusive mindset, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and collaborative engagement with internal and external partners.
