Cedars of Marin provides day programs and residential opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities. Founded in 1919, our person-centered programs and services have supported hundreds of clients in living creative, productive, joyous, and healthy lives.

We are seeking a full-time DSP in our Community Connections program to work directly with a young man, supporting his participation in activities such as music and arts & crafts. You will oversee his daily functions and provide support to ensure his health, safety, and happiness.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 3:00 pm. The hourly rate is $21.00. Bonus of up to $1,000 distributed over the first year of employment.

Requirements

• Experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities is highly desired.
• A desire to help others achieve their full potential.
• Medical background, skills, and terminology are a plus.
• Ability to think ahead and take initiative.
• English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Valid CA driver's license with 3 years of driving experience and ability to drive a passenger van.
• Proficient in email communication.
• CPR and First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain them.
• Ability to pass an occupational physical including TB test and meet physical requirements.
• Ability to pass FBI and DOJ criminal background checks.
