Job Description

As Vice President, North America Value-Added Services (VAS) Finance, you will oversee financial planning, budgeting, commercial deals, and analysis efforts. This senior role requires strong financial acumen, strategic planning skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively. VAS is Visa's fastest-growing unit, pivotal to our growth beyond payments, with diverse product portfolios.

This highly visible position will report to the VAS CFO and involve significant interaction with senior leaders, including the VAS President, Product and Sales leaders, and Group CFO. You will drive global strategy, analysis, and decision-making processes.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Oversee long-range planning, budgeting, and forecasting aligned with strategic goals.
  2. Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend performance improvements.
  3. Lead quarterly business updates for senior management.
  4. Collaborate with sales and product leaders to align financial strategies with company objectives.
  5. Manage commercial deals to enhance revenue and profitability.
  6. Design sales compensation structures and manage sales efficiency metrics.
  7. Improve budgeting and forecasting processes with global teams.
  8. Coordinate with Controllership and FP&A for monthly close and performance analysis.
  9. Lead and develop a high-performing team of 10+ members.

This role is hybrid, with days in the office to be confirmed by your manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree, or 10+ years with an advanced degree, or 8+ years with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience with an advanced degree (e.g., MBA, JD, MD, PhD).
  • Top-tier graduate degree preferred.
  • Experience in finance within financial services or technology sectors.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Additional Information

Work hours vary; travel is 5-10%. The position is in an office setting, requiring standard office activities.

U.S. salary range: $236,300 - $369,300 plus potential incentives, bonuses, and benefits.
