Description

The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) team provides real estate transaction expertise, business partnering, occupancy planning, capital investment management, workplace strategy, and facility operations for Amazon's corporate office portfolio globally. This role is on the Global Business Partnering (GBP) team, which aims to align real estate strategies with business objectives by creating a bridge between each business unit and GREF. As a Manager on GREF's Business Partnering team, you will serve as a business partner (BP) for the e-Commerce Foundation (eCF), Selling Partner Services (SPS), and Amazon Health Services, collaborating with senior leaders across these units.

This role acts as the key liaison between these business units and GREF, focusing on three critical areas:

  1. Identifying and reducing defects related to International Stores' corporate real estate to improve scalability.
  2. Developing standardized real estate and workplace mechanisms that provide data-driven insights for executive decision-making, leveraging performance metrics and industry trends.
  3. Elevating GREF's products and programs within International Stores to enhance customer experience and operational efficiencies.

The ideal candidate is an experienced business partner who thrives in an entrepreneurial culture, quickly building trust. They possess a strong understanding of corporate real estate challenges, have vision, leadership, excellent communication skills, and are comfortable engaging with C-suite executives. They should be capable of deep dives and delivering customer-focused results amidst ambiguity.

Key job responsibilities

  • Drive strategic partnerships across enterprise teams (e.g., Finance, PXT, Public Relations, Legal, Security) and align GREF, Corporate FP&A, and Public Policy to support decision-making and trade-offs.
  • Develop and implement business planning systems, including reporting and data analytics, to track performance metrics and meet SLAs.
  • Lead the delivery of executive-level real estate presentations, recommendations, and business cases, ensuring alignment and compliance with fiduciary responsibilities, cost savings, and GREF standards.
  • Establish and manage operational rhythms, integrating into business planning and review processes.
  • Provide strategic leadership for real estate initiatives, utilizing industry insights, best practices, and market analysis, while overseeing escalation processes.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience developing and implementing standardized business processes
  • Proven ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • 1+ years of commercial real estate experience
  • Bachelor's degree or PMP certification
  • Ability to perform advanced data analysis and translate findings into actionable insights
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
