Job Summary

The IT Change Lead will drive IT change initiatives for 2025, focusing on organizational awareness and engagement within the IT department. This is a contract role requiring 50% of your time, collaborating with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth transitions during transformation projects.

Responsibilities

  1. Understand Nimble team scope, roles, and client work completed to date.
  2. Identify onboarding and training needs for IT roles within the GIS platform.
  3. Connect technology users by business function and process touchpoints.
  4. Develop and lead change management strategies, including communication content and stakeholder engagement activities.
  5. Utilize tools like SharePoint, Mural, Miro, JIRA, MS Teams, and Mentimeter for collaboration and content management.
  6. Facilitate workshops, design roadshows, and establish change management metrics.
  7. Coordinate with the full-time change lead and support leadership in managing change.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in relevant fields.
  2. 8+ years of change management experience, preferably with ERP/technology rollouts and in the utility sector.
  3. Certification in change management (e.g., ProSci, ACMP, Kotter).
  4. Proven ability to lead end-to-end change initiatives across multiple projects and industries.
  5. Strong organizational, analytical, and adaptability skills.
  6. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and use remote tools efficiently.

Additional Requirements for Nimble Team

  1. Available to start on June 1, 2025.
  2. Work during Pacific hours (8am-5pm), with flexibility.
  3. 70% remote, 30% onsite in Oakland/San Ramon, CA.
  4. Reside in the San Francisco Bay Area.
  5. Contract duration: June 1, 2025 - December 30, 2025.
