What You Will Do to Change Lives

The Corporate & Litigation Paralegal is a highly organized and detail-oriented individual and an integral member of the in-house legal team. This position reports directly to the VP, General Counsel. The professional will collaborate with cross-functional teams across Telecare, including human resources, finance, risk and quality, compliance, clinical operations, and leadership. They will provide critical support to the corporate legal department and assist in litigation matters as needed.

Shifts Available:

Full-Time | DAYS | Shifts: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Monday - Friday

Expected starting wage range is $82,353.30 - $101,712.50. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The actual pay will depend on the geographic location of the role and relevant experience. Starting pay is commensurate with experience above the minimum requirements.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)

  • Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, including at least 3 years supporting litigation.
  • Excellent client service skills.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate law, contracts, governance, and local/state business filings.
  • Familiarity with litigation procedures, discovery, witness coordination, and subpoenas.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, legal research tools, and case management software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining real-time, accurate documentation.
  • Alignment with Telecare's mission and values.
  • Note: Employment contingent upon successful completion of background checks, health screenings, and other regulatory requirements. Valid driver's license and auto insurance are required if driving is necessary.

Preferred:

  • Experience with insurance claims management.
  • Healthcare industry experience.
  • Knowledge of employment law, ESOP, and ERISA.
  • Certification by NALA or NFPA.
  • Experience with laws and regulations in CA, WA, and OR.
