As a proud member of the LVMH family, we mix bold beauty with big-hearted fun while staying rooted in innovation and results. We're looking for a visionary, commercially driven General Manager to lead our US market operations and drive the next chapter of growth.

This role is accountable for the full P&L and overall performance of the US market. You'll set the strategic direction, lead a cross-functional team, and champion Benefit's disruptive DNA across every retail touchpoint. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with entrepreneurial grit, deep market experience, and the ability to translate vision into action.

What You'll Do:

Strategic Leadership

  • Serve as the strategic bridge between San Francisco HQ and the U.S. market—adapting global priorities to meet local business realities.
  • Identify and activate high-impact growth opportunities across channels, partners, and categories.

Commercial Excellence & P&L Ownership

  • Lead the U.S. business with full P&L accountability—driving sales, managing margins, and protecting profitability.
  • Optimize pricing, trade terms, and promotional levers in partnership with retail partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Allocate capital and headcount strategically to maximize return on investment and business impact.

Team & Culture Building

  • Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing, cross-functional team across sales, marketing, training, operations, and support functions.
  • Create a culture of ownership, agility, and accountability while fostering collaboration, creativity, and joy.
  • Champion Benefit's values and leadership behaviors, ensuring a consistent employee experience across field and office teams.

Operational & Brand Execution

  • Oversee end-to-end operations including forecasting, replenishment, logistics, compliance, financial planning, IT, and HR.
  • Ensure operational excellence and consistency across counters, retail activations, and customer experiences.
  • Safeguard brand equity through flawless execution of visual merchandising, service standards, and marketing activations.

Market & Consumer Expertise

  • Leverage deep US market knowledge to shape decisions, challenge assumptions, and stay ahead of emerging trends.
  • Build and maintain influential relationships with key retail partners and other industry stakeholders.
  • Drive brand visibility through strong media presence, digital engagement, and influencer alignment.

Qualifications:

  • Validated General Manager experience in a similarly scaled or entrepreneurial consumer brand (beauty, fashion, lifestyle highly preferred).
  • Proven market knowledge of LATAM beauty and retail landscape, including key players, trends, and consumer behaviors.
  • BA Degree or equivalent required; MBA or advanced business education a plus.
  • Demonstrated strategic leadership with the ability to set direction and inspire high-performing teams.
  • Proven commercial acumen and success in managing and growing a profitable P&L.
  • Strong analytical, operational, and problem-solving skills—comfortable moving between the big picture and day-to-day execution.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on approach; thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
  • Collaborative team player who models our brand values and energizes others
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with financial systems, CRM, and retail analytics platforms a plus.
