Hanna Interpreting Services LLC is a language service provider connecting bilingual and multilingual individuals with opportunities as freelance interpreters or translators. Our mission is to bridge communication gaps through excellent and compassionate language services.

We seek bilingual and multilingual individuals for freelance interpreter roles as 1099 Independent Contractors. Interpreters contribute to language access for all, regardless of English proficiency. As an independent contractor, you set your availability and accept appointments based on your schedule.

Appointments are available Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, but are not guaranteed and depend on need.

Starting pay ranges from $25 to $30 per hour, based on availability, experience, and language demand.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and the target language, with a strong understanding of idiomatic speech and cultural nuances
• Experience in interpreting, preferably in medical, legal, or educational settings
• Professionalism, punctuality, and adaptability
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Basic communication device operation skills
• Flexibility to work in various settings
• Must be located in and authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship provided)
• High School Diploma or equivalent, or certification in interpreting or related fields
