  • Occasional support for our toddler during school holidays, sick days
  • Prepare age appropriate nutritious meals and snacks
  • Take baby to age appropriate classes or activities (e.g., music class, swimming)
  • Maintain communication with parents if needed throughout the day and send occasional photo updates
  • Collaborate respectfully with parents; intuitive about when to step in or step back
  • Light child-related housekeeping, including:
    • Baby & Toddler laundry
    • Washing bottles and water cups
    • Wiping down stroller and car seat
    • Keeping diaper bag stocked and organized
    • Tidying and occasionally sanitizing toys and play spaces

  • Excellent references from past families
  • Emotionally mature, dependable, and nurturing
  • Strong communicator with excellent judgment
  • Confident working in a home where a parent may be present
  • Comfortable with occasional proxy-parenting or overnight care when parents travel
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
