Position Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Healthy Living, the Tennis Coordinator is responsible for the comprehensive management and delivery of all tennis programs and court scheduling at the Presidio YMCA. This position includes oversight of tennis instructional staff, coordination of tennis components within summer day camp programming, and the facilitation of lessons in individual, semi-private, and group formats.
The Tennis Coordinator is accountable for the development, execution, and evaluation of high-quality tennis offerings that align with the YMCA's mission of promoting health and well-being. Additional responsibilities include assisting with the recruitment, training, supervision, and performance evaluation of tennis personnel. The position requires continuous assessment of program effectiveness and member satisfaction, with adjustments made in response to feedback and organizational goals. The Tennis Coordinator is also responsible for ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.

Flexibility is needed to work in various weather conditions, and the ability to lead lessons for individuals, semi-private groups, and larger group settings is essential.
