Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate History & Geography Teacher, teaching in French, to join our Upper School to cover a maternity leave from late October 2025 to early March 2026, with potential for extension. Fluency or proficiency in French is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning styles
• Create an inclusive classroom environment fostering creativity and a love for history and geography
• Assess student progress regularly and provide feedback
• Communicate with parents about student development
• Participate in meetings and fulfill other professional duties as assigned
• Build positive relationships with students and staff, promoting autonomy and confidence

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Teaching certification or licensure preferred
• Experience teaching History & Geography to upper school students
• Fluency or proficiency in French and English
• Strong instructional knowledge and innovative teaching skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Authorized to work in the United States

Salary ranges from $66,404 to $103,037, prorated for the contract duration.
