Join Alvarez & Marsal as a Director in the Operations Group—Aerospace, Defense, Aviation & Space (ADAS). We are expanding our Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) team across various U.S. locations.

About the Role

The PEPI practice focuses on serving private equity firms and their portfolio companies, as well as corporate clients in relevant industries. Our services include transformation, strategy, interim management, M&A, manufacturing operations, and CFO services.

We leverage our industry expertise to address market challenges, improve EBITDA, cash flow, and operational performance, with a focus on high growth and leadership development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead teams through performance improvement projects, developing and executing strategic plans
  • Analyze data and synthesize insights to inform recommendations
  • Work directly with clients to implement strategies and operational improvements
  • Apply industry-specific knowledge in aerospace, defense, aviation, and space sectors

Professional Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including leadership roles in consulting or industry
  • Previous experience with a recognized strategy consulting firm
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Willingness to travel up to 80%
  • Deep industry expertise in aerospace, defense, aviation, or space preferred

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
  • Experience with private equity relationships is a plus
  • Recent project leadership experience

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $150,000 - $225,000 annually, plus discretionary bonus. Benefits include healthcare, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
