Giants Baseball Camps Coach

Giants Camps is now hiring Baseball Coaches for our summer youth baseball and softball camps throughout the Bay Area.

Giants Summer Camps seeks energetic, positive coaches who love inspiring youth to make good choices, be accountable, and have fun! We provide equipment, training, and curriculum; you provide leadership to ensure campers have a rewarding experience, develop a love for the game, make new friends, improve skills, and value personal accountability.

We welcome coaching skill levels for campers aged 4 to 13.

We are looking for team members who:

  • Have experience working with children aged 4-13
  • Have coaching or playing experience at high school level or higher
  • Are passionate about teaching and leadership
  • Can connect with children individually and in groups
  • Lead by example with integrity, character, and positivity
  • Are dependable and reliable
  • Know how to have fun!

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe environment for campers
  • Motivate campers to enjoy each day
  • Implement Giants Camps Curriculum daily under the Site Director's guidance
  • Provide feedback during drills and games
  • Highlight teachable moments for growth
  • Collaborate with team members to uphold the camp's reputation

Qualifications:

  • Commit to a Monday-Friday schedule for about 8 hours daily, for a minimum of 3-5 weeks (June 9 - August 15, 2025)
  • Reliable transportation to sites
  • Pass a background check
  • Pay varies based on experience and skill level

Camp Locations include:

  • San Francisco - West Sunset and Balboa Park
  • Larkspur - Redwood High School and Piper Park
  • Redwood City - Red Morton Park
  • Orinda - Wagner Ranch Elementary
  • San Jose - Herman Intermediate School
  • Elk Grove - Johnson Park Recreation
  • Rocklin - Johnson Springview Park
  • Folsom - John Kemp Community Park
  • Sacramento - William Land Park

Interview Process:

After applying, expect:

  • An invitation for a one-way interview
  • A 15-minute virtual interview with our MLB Camps Director

Compensation:

  • Professional Educator: $22.00/hour (requires at least 1 school year of paid teaching or teaching certification)
  • College Student/Recent Graduate: $18.67/hour
