Behavioral Support Provider - $20-$25/hour - Weekly Pay

Maxim Healthcare Services in Berkeley is hiring for a Behavioral Support Provider to work with children and/or adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges
• Assist with daily program activities in the areas of self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor, and behavior, including crisis intervention
• Assist clients with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, meal preparation and feeding, dressing and undressing, ambulation, and other activities as needed
• Implement and collect data on the behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous experience working in an educational or healthcare setting preferred
• At least one year of experience working with children/adults with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences, or related field preferred
• Current in-person CPR/First Aid certification for Adults & Children
• Updated TB test
• Must be at least 18 years of age
