Join Vertosa as a US-based Account Executive

At Vertosa, we take a collaborative approach—supporting our clients from idea to finished product, especially in the innovative cannabis and hemp industry. As an Account Executive, you will support the entire sales cycle and help shape new consumer products that could rival mainstream food and beverage markets.

In your first year, you will:

  1. Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring a seamless experience tailored to industry needs.
  2. Identify and develop new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
  3. Expand existing accounts by exploring new product and market opportunities.
  4. Negotiate and close deals, including contracts and timelines, in a dynamic environment.
  5. Collaborate with Operations, R&D, Marketing, and Quality teams to ensure cohesive customer management.
  6. Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and pipeline data.
  7. Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and regulations.
  8. Participate in industry events to build brand awareness and network.

To succeed, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
  • 5+ years in cannabis or food and beverage ingredient sales, with a proven track record.
  • Proficiency with CRM, Excel, and digital platforms.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% quarterly.
  • Passion for cannabis, with eligibility to work in the US.
