What you'll do

1. Support all facets of Thermal Interface Materials (TIM) product development and customer field service needs.
2. Act as the interface between field and lab in capturing and translating customers' needs for new applications and products.
3. Design and administrate internal screening evaluations of developmental and commercialized products, optimize material assembly processes, and direct interaction with customers to troubleshoot and solve product and process-related problems.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally.
5. Provide global on-site support at Henkel's customers as needed.
6. Travel up to 25% globally, covering all Henkel's consumer electronics manufacturing customers.
7. Requires approximately 50% of the time working with Lab-Application Engineering personnel to bridge customer needs and 50% of the time working directly with the customers on technical support.
8. Understand customer culture and anticipate their needs when developing new products/processes.
9. Mentor and guide the global team in both technical and business areas.

What makes you a good fit

A bachelor's/master's degree with 7+ years of working experience or a doctor's degree with 5+ years of working experience in R&D or application engineering field. Education in engineering or material science discipline is required.

• Deep knowledge of TIM products, as well as demonstrated customer/application support, is highly preferred.

Experience in material handling such as dispensing and printing is a plus. Understanding and demonstration of testing of thermal products is required. Knowledge of statistical analysis using MinTab and/or JMP is desirable. Demonstrated ability in working with a cross-functional Sales/Product Development/Marketing team is highly desirable.

The salary for this role is $115,000.00 - $140,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range may also be modified in the future.
