PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

As the Business Transformation Project Manager you will provide transformational change management expertise, deliver a formalized project change management approach and leadership to assess, develop roadmap and drive transformation initiatives at the client's organization. You will have overall project leadership, manage specific workstreams, develop project plan and execute against the plan working in partnership with global stakeholders across organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

  • Lead change management effort by planning, managing, and reinforcing change – quickly coming up to speed on what is driving the change, requirements, business challenges and potential cultural barriers.
  • Lead initial assessment, impact analysis and determine gaps working in partnership with key sponsors, clients and stakeholders on a global scale to formulate and define the change management scope and objectives.
  • Develop change roadmap, project and communication plan aligning timeline to key milestones.
  • Day to day ownership of change project delivery, proactively building trusted working relationships with cross functional stakeholders and partners to drive alignment, increase collaboration and optimize project operations.
  • Identify risks, dependencies and issues across the initiative. Develop mitigation strategies and coordinate mitigation actions to meet the broader organization goals, milestones and objectives.
  • Ensure appropriate sponsorship and align stakeholders around initiative goals. Collaborate globally to influence key stakeholders on project scope/vision, solutions, budget, and schedule.
  • Establish communications cadence to ensure appropriate program governance. Clearly communicate project strategy, updates, escalation of risks/issues to project stakeholders, levels of management, including executive leadership teams across the organization. Facilitate weekly project team meetings to provide status on progress and milestone achievement.
  • Proactively control the overall project schedule and manage discrepancies. Report potential slippages, analyze impact, devise solutions and take corrective action where necessary.
  • Collect lessons learned and ideas for continuous improvement as the project progresses.
  • Leverage data insights to measure and report project performance against plan.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

  • 10-15+ years of project/ program management experience leading complex change management / transformation initiatives in a global, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in technology (SaaS, software, collaboration/ social platforms) industry a MUST
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, MBA a bonus
  • Experience in business transformation/ change management approaches/ methodology, planning, execution, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Acquisition Integration, business process reengineering or global system implementation experience top priority.
  • Ability to execute against project plan, managing to deadlines and working collaboratively on a global cross functional level.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills; as well as strong cross functional communication skills to drive alignment across the organization. Good leadership presence; able to build credibility and lead without authority.
  • Experience managing ambiguity and constant shifts in direction of projects.
  • Detailed, motivated, solution-oriented individual that can work well with internal stakeholders and external partners at all levels, and as needed. The ability to execute effectively while collaborating across teams in global locations will be key to success in this role.
  • Strong business acumen and problem solving skills with the ability to mitigate risk and manage interdependencies is critical.
